The Swarovski Optik company’s commitment to nature conservation and species protects extends back many years. It is for this reason that it has been possible to successfully complete numerous projects from the initiators’ point of view. With our support we were able to ensure the future of the WWF station for birds of prey at Haringsee, the only such institution in Austria.

"Migratory Bird Conservancy"/USA

1998-01-01

Safeguarding habitats by direct purchase and other similar measures is a route followed in the USA too. Together with the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, in 1998 Swarovski Optik founded the "Migratory Bird Conservancy". This was designed to save the habitats of American migratory birds has so far been so successful.
